Lúðrasveitin Svanur (The Swan Wind Orchestra) is blowing the roof off Harpa with a concert where Anime takes center stage. Scenes will be projected onto a big screen, accompanied by live music, and to top off the excitement, there will be a costume (cosplay) contest with fantastic prizes. Anime – Cartoons for adults? Adult cartoons for kids? It doesn’t matter, because Anime is for everyone, everywhere, always! The only limit to your costume is your imagination! The bigger – the better – the bolder – the more powerful. Whether you register for the competition or not... show up in costume! All information about the competition and registration can be found at svanur.is/buningakeppni. A heartwarming emotional noodle-soup mixed with powerful battle music and swinging Japanese tunes. A feast for fans of Cowboy Bebop, My Neighbor Totoro, The Wind Rises, and other masterpieces from our friends in the Land of the Rising Sun. World-class family entertainment. A time and place to forget the daily grind, leave all talk of crisis and worries on the harbor pier, and hopefully watch them drift away into the sea – never to return. If you’re still wondering whether you should get a ticket — stop thinking and just go for it.
