On Tuesday, March 18th at 13:00-16:00, a conference on security issues and the uncertain future of community festivals will take place at Mengi.
The conference is held by students in event management at Hólar University.
Keynote speakers are:

Guðlaug María Lewis - Cultural Representative of Reykjanesbær
Karl Steinar Valsson - Chief of Police
Helga Haraldsdóttir - Executive Director of Reykjavík Pride
Orri Rósinkranz - Executive Planner at Harpa
María Bóel Guðmundsdóttir - Executive Director of Neistaflug
Elva Þöll Grétarsdóttir - Executive Director of the Rhubarb Festival in Blönduós
Admission is free, but guests are asked to register as space is limited.
Please notice that the conference will be conducted in Icelandic.
