Open from 10.30am - 11.00am

Join us for a cozy storytime followed by learning and singing a Norwegian song with Simon, a Norwegian composer and multidisciplinary artist living in Iceland. The reading takes place in the Children’s Library, where the exhibition The Tree is on display. The exhibition highlights the role of trees in Nordic picture books and features illustrations from twelve nominated titles in the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize. Families are invited to explore the stories through images, regardless of language, and additional educational material is available at bokslukaren.org. After the reading, children can enjoy interactive games, drawing materials, and even hang up their own artwork in the exhibition space. Free entry. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–17:00. The library is wheelchair accessible and offers family-friendly facilities.
